No
The 510(k) summary describes a standard patient examination glove and contains no mention of AI, ML, image processing, or any other technology typically associated with AI/ML in medical devices.

No.
The device is a patient examination glove used to prevent contamination between patient and examiner, not to provide therapy.

No
Explanation: The device is a patient examination glove, intended to prevent contamination between patient and examiner. It does not perform any diagnostic function such as identifying, assessing, or predicting a disease or medical condition.

No

The device is a physical examination glove, which is a hardware medical device, not software.

No, this device is not an IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic).

Here's why:

  • Intended Use: The intended use clearly states the device is a "patient examination glove" worn on the hand or finger to prevent contamination. This is a physical barrier device used during patient examination.
  • IVD Definition: In Vitro Diagnostics are devices used to examine specimens (like blood, urine, tissue) taken from the human body to provide information about a person's health. They are used outside of the body (in vitro).
  • Lack of IVD Characteristics: The provided information does not mention any analysis of biological specimens, chemical reactions, or diagnostic testing.

The device described is a Class I medical device (general controls) used for barrier protection, not for in vitro diagnostic purposes. The predicate devices listed (examination gloves) further support this classification.
