The NuVasive® Thoracolumbar Interbody Systems are indicated for intervertebral body fusion of the spine in skeletally mature patients. Therefore, no performance testing was performed for this 510(k) submission and the worst case devices included with the subject system were tested and cleared in predicate 510(k) submissions. Therefore, the requested information regarding acceptance criteria, device performance, sample sizes, data provenance, expert qualifications, adjudication methods, MRMC studies, standalone performance, and ground truth establishment for AI/ML performance studies is not applicable to this document. This submission focuses on demonstrating substantial equivalence for an existing class of physical implants based on mechanical testing and a clinical literature analysis, not on the performance of a novel AI/ML algorithm.
