No
The summary describes a standard cardiac monitor with basic ECG and heart rate monitoring, alarming, and R-wave synchronization features, with no mention of AI or ML.

No
The device is described as a monitor for ECG and Heart Rate, providing diagnostic information and alarms, but not directly treating or preventing a disease or condition.

No

The device is described as a monitor that displays ECG and heart rate, sounds alarms for heart rate deviations, and provides R-wave synchronized output. Its primary function is monitoring, not diagnosing conditions or diseases.

No

The device description explicitly states it is an "instrument" and describes physical functions like sounding an alarm and providing an output pulse, indicating it is a hardware device with integrated software, not a software-only device.

Based on the provided information, the Ivy Biomedical Model 7600 Cardiac Trigger Monitor is not an IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic).

Here's why:

  • IVD Definition: In vitro diagnostics are tests performed on samples taken from the human body, such as blood, urine, or tissue, to detect diseases, conditions, or infections.
  • Device Function: The description clearly states the device is for monitoring the ECG and Heart Rate. This is a direct measurement of physiological signals from the patient's body, not an analysis of a sample taken from the body.
  • Intended Use: The intended use is for monitoring in clinical settings (ICU, CCU, operating room) and providing a synchronized output pulse. This aligns with a patient-connected monitoring device, not an in vitro test.

The device is a patient-connected medical device used for physiological monitoring.
