No
The document describes a mechanical dental handpiece and makes no mention of AI or ML technology.

No.
The device description indicates that these are dental handpieces used for procedures like implant surgery and general dentistry (e.g., removing carious material, preparing cavities). These are tools used in procedures, rather than devices that directly treat a disease or condition for therapeutic purposes. They are instruments for mechanical preparation in dentistry.

No

The device description indicates it is a contra-angle for dental procedures like implant surgery and general dentistry, which are treatment-oriented rather than diagnostic.

No

The device description clearly states it is a range of "contra angle" devices, which are physical handpieces used in dental procedures. The submission also references a standard for "Dental Handpieces," further indicating a hardware device.

No, this device is not an IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic).

Here's why:

  • IVD Definition: In vitro diagnostics are tests performed on samples such as blood, urine, or tissue that have been taken from the human body to detect diseases or other conditions.
  • Device Function: The provided description clearly states that the ANTHOGYR contra-angles are mechanical devices used for dental procedures performed directly on the patient's teeth and bone. They are tools for physical manipulation, not for analyzing biological samples.
  • Intended Use: The intended uses listed (implant surgery, removing carious material, cavity preparation, etc.) are all direct clinical procedures, not laboratory tests.

Therefore, based on the provided information, the ANTHOGYR MontBlanc contra-angles are dental handpieces used for direct treatment, not in vitro diagnostic devices.
