The second acceptance criterion for this study was that both the BioBag and loose larvae product consume at least 30g of tissue over the 48 hour experiment per Blake et al., 2007 who showed that a single maggot was capable of debriding approximately 0.15g of dead tissue per day in a wound model (equating to 30g over a 2 dav period).
