No
Explanation: This device (medical glove) is used for contamination prevention, not for diagnosing patient conditions or diseases.

No

The device description clearly states it is a "Powder-Free LATEX Examination Gloves," which is a physical hardware device, not software.

Based on the provided information, this device is not an IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic).

Here's why:

  • Intended Use: The intended use is to prevent contamination between healthcare personnel and the patient by being worn on the hand. This is a physical barrier function, not a diagnostic test performed on samples taken from the body.
  • Device Description: It's described as a "Powder-Free LATEX Examination Glove." This is a physical barrier device.
  • Lack of IVD Characteristics: There is no mention of:
    • Analyzing samples (blood, urine, tissue, etc.)
    • Detecting or measuring substances in samples
    • Providing information for diagnosis, monitoring, or screening of diseases or conditions

IVDs are devices used to perform tests on samples taken from the human body to provide information about a person's health. A medical glove does not fit this description.
