No
The device description and performance studies focus on the physical and biological properties of a personal lubricant, with no mention of AI or ML technology.

No
The product is a personal lubricant intended to enhance the ease and comfort of intimate sexual activity and supplement natural lubrication, which is not a therapeutic use.

No

Explanation: The device is described as a personal lubricant intended to moisturize and lubricate for intimate sexual activity, not to diagnose any condition.

No

The device is a personal lubricant, which is a physical substance applied to the body, not a software program. The description details ingredients and physical properties, not software functions.

Based on the provided information, this device is not an IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic).

Here's why:

  • Intended Use: The intended use is clearly stated as a personal lubricant for penile and/or vaginal application to moisturize and lubricate for enhanced sexual activity. This is a physical function, not a diagnostic one.
  • Device Description: The description focuses on the ingredients and physical/microbiological specifications of the lubricant itself. There is no mention of analyzing samples from the body to diagnose a condition.
  • Lack of Diagnostic Purpose: IVDs are designed to examine specimens (like blood, urine, tissue) from the human body to provide information for the diagnosis, monitoring, or treatment of a disease or condition. This product does not perform such a function.
  • Predicate Device: The predicate device listed (K070587; Elegant Woman's Lubricant) is also a personal lubricant, which falls under a different regulatory category than IVDs.

Therefore, Love Alchemy's Love Lotion is a medical device, but it is classified as a personal lubricant, not an In Vitro Diagnostic.
