No
The summary describes a material (milling blanks) and its intended use in dental restorations. There is no mention of software, algorithms, or any technology that would suggest the use of AI or ML.

No
The device is a milling blank used to create dental prostheses, not to treat a disease or condition itself.

No
The device is described as milling blanks used for making dental restorations like crowns and bridges, which is a manufacturing purpose, not diagnostic.

No

The device description clearly states it is composed of "fiberglass and resin in several layers," indicating a physical material, not software.

Based on the provided information, this device is not an IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic).

Here's why:

  • IVD devices are used to examine specimens derived from the human body (like blood, urine, tissue) to provide information for diagnosis, monitoring, or screening.
  • This device is a milling blank used to create dental restorations (copings, substructures, frameworks). It is a material used in the mouth, not a device used to analyze samples from the body.

The intended use clearly describes the creation of dental prosthetics, which falls outside the scope of in vitro diagnostics.
