No
The provided text describes a surgical access device and does not mention any AI or ML components or functionalities.

No
The device is described as assisting in minimally invasive surgical procedures by providing a path of entry for instruments and for specimen extraction, rather than directly treating a disease or condition.

No
The device is described as establishing a path of entry for instruments and for specimen extraction, indicating a surgical or interventional tool rather than one used for diagnosing medical conditions.

No

The device description clearly indicates a physical medical device (Seal Cap Assembly with accessories and Fixed-Length Access Retractors) used in surgical procedures, not a software-only product.

Based on the provided information, this device is not an IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic).

Here's why:

  • Intended Use: The intended use describes the device as being used during surgical procedures to establish access and extract specimens. This is a surgical tool used in vivo (within the body).
  • Lack of IVD Characteristics: There is no mention of the device being used to examine specimens in vitro (outside the body) to provide information about a physiological state, health, or disease. IVDs typically involve analyzing samples like blood, urine, tissue, etc.

The description clearly points to a surgical access device, not a diagnostic test performed on samples.
