The provided 510(k) summary contains no mention of AI, ML, image processing, or any other technology typically associated with AI/ML in medical devices. The description focuses solely on providing mobility.
No
The device is described as providing mobility to individuals, which is a functional aid, not typically considered therapeutic in the medical sense of treating or curing a disease or condition.
No
The device's intended use is to provide mobility, not to diagnose a medical condition or disease.
No
The provided 510(k) summary describes a "powered scooter" which is a hardware device, not software-only. The description of the device itself is missing, but the intended use clearly points to a physical mobility aid.
Based on the provided information, the Segaego 3D is not an IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic).
Here's why:
- Intended Use: The intended use is to provide mobility to individuals with limited mobility, which is a physical function, not a diagnostic test performed on biological samples.
- Device Description: While the description is "Not Found," the intended use clearly points away from diagnostic testing.
- Lack of IVD Indicators: The document does not mention any of the typical characteristics of an IVD, such as:
- Analyzing biological samples (blood, urine, tissue, etc.)
- Detecting diseases, conditions, or infections
- Providing information for diagnosis, monitoring, or treatment decisions based on biological markers.
The Segaego 3D appears to be a mobility aid, specifically a powered scooter.
