No
The summary describes a mechanical tooth extraction device and contains no mention of AI, ML, or related concepts like image processing or performance metrics typically associated with AI/ML devices.

No
The device is used to extract teeth and tooth roots, which is a procedure, not a therapeutic treatment itself. While it aids in a medical procedure, it doesn't provide therapy.

No
The device is described as an extraction device used to remove teeth and tooth roots, which is a therapeutic or interventional procedure, not a diagnostic one. It does not mention any function of identifying or determining the nature of a condition.

No

The description clearly states the device is a "Tooth Extraction device," which implies a physical instrument used for extraction, not software. There is no mention of software components.

Based on the provided information, the Meisinger Benex Tooth Extraction device is not an IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic).

Here's why:

  • IVD Definition: In vitro diagnostics are tests performed on samples taken from the human body, such as blood, urine, or tissue, to detect diseases, conditions, or infections.
  • Device Function: The description clearly states the device is used for the extraction of teeth and tooth roots. This is a surgical or procedural intervention performed directly on the patient's body, not a test performed on a sample outside the body.

Therefore, the Meisinger Benex Tooth Extraction device falls under the category of a surgical or dental instrument, not an in vitro diagnostic device.
