No

The device is a temporary dental cement, which is a physical material, not software.

Based on the provided information, this device is not an IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic).

Here's why:

  • Intended Use: The intended use is for the cementation of temporary dental restorations (crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays). This is a direct application within the body (or on a structure that will be placed in the body), not for testing samples taken from the body.
  • Lack of IVD Indicators: The description does not mention any of the typical characteristics of an IVD, such as:
    • Analyzing biological samples (blood, urine, tissue, etc.)
    • Providing diagnostic information about a patient's health status
    • Using reagents or assays

The device is a dental material used for a restorative procedure, which falls under the category of medical devices, but not specifically In Vitro Diagnostics.
