No
The intended use describes the temporary cementation of dental prosthetics, which is a treatment or restorative function, not a diagnostic one.

No

The intended use describes a dental cement, which is a physical material, not software. The summary provides no information about any software component.

Based on the provided information, this device is not an IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic).

Here's why:

  • Intended Use: The intended use is for the temporary cementation of dental restorations (inlays, crowns, bridges). This is a direct application within the patient's mouth for a physical purpose.
  • Lack of IVD Characteristics: There is no mention of analyzing samples from the human body (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) or providing diagnostic information based on such analysis.

IVDs are devices used to examine specimens derived from the human body to provide information for the diagnosis, monitoring, or treatment of diseases or conditions. This device's function is purely mechanical and restorative within the oral cavity.
