No
The device description and intended use clearly define a simple disposable glove, with no mention of any computational or analytical capabilities that would involve AI/ML.

No
The device, a patient examination glove, is intended for preventing contamination, not for treating a disease or condition.

No
Explanation: The device, patient examination gloves, is described as a barrier to prevent contamination between patient and examiner. Its purpose is not to diagnose medical conditions but rather to provide protection.

No

The device description clearly states it is a "DISPOSABLE VINYL SYNTHETIC EXAM GLOVE," which is a physical hardware product, not software.

No, this device is not an IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic).

Here's why:

  • IVD Definition: In vitro diagnostics are tests performed on samples taken from the human body, such as blood, urine, or tissue, to detect diseases, conditions, or infections. They are used to provide information for diagnosis, monitoring, or screening.
  • Device Description and Intended Use: The provided information clearly states that the device is a "PATIENT EXAMINATION GLOVES" intended to be "worn on the examiner's hand or fingers to prevent contamination between patient and examiner." This is a barrier device used for infection control, not a test performed on a biological sample.

The description and intended use align with a Class I or Class II medical device used for personal protection and infection control, not an IVD.
