No
The device is described as an accessory to surgical lamps, providing a sterile interface. It does not appear to treat, diagnose, cure, mitigate, or prevent disease, which are characteristics of a therapeutic device.

No
The device is described as an accessory to surgical lamps, providing a sterile interface. Its intended use does not involve diagnosing medical conditions, but rather facilitating a sterile environment during surgery.

No

The device is described as a "Disposable Light Handle," which is a physical accessory for surgical lamps. The description focuses on its sterile interface function, indicating a hardware component. There is no mention of software as the primary or sole component.

Based on the provided information, this device is not an IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic).

Here's why:

  • Intended Use: The intended use is clearly stated as an accessory to surgical lamps to provide a sterile interface. This is a surgical device used in a clinical setting, not a device used to examine specimens from the human body in vitro.
  • Device Description (or lack thereof): While the description is "Not Found," the intended use is the primary indicator.
  • No mention of biological samples: There is no indication that this device interacts with or analyzes biological samples (blood, urine, tissue, etc.).
  • No mention of diagnostic purposes: The device's function is purely mechanical and sterile, not for diagnosing a condition or providing information about a patient's health status based on in vitro analysis.

IVD devices are specifically designed to perform tests on specimens taken from the human body to provide information for diagnostic, monitoring, or screening purposes. This disposable light handle does not fit that description.
